Christian Dallas, a contemporary painter and muralist based in Cincinnati, graduated with a BFA in painting from Northern Kentucky University. His journey into large-scale mural painting began shortly after that. By embracing the distinctive scale of each wall and its environment, Christian employs diverse design elements and painting techniques to craft unique and purposeful artworks that harmonize with urban landscapes.

Christian has collaborated with ArtWorks Cincinnati on various projects, contributing to designing, painting and installing more than 20 murals. His most recent paintings include a mural for the façade of Rookwood Pottery in Over the Rhine (2017), a mural honoring Ralph Haile in Covington, Ky. showcased at the nation’s largest light, art and project mapping experience, BLINK™ (2019), and led a team of 14 to execute one for the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, CVG (2021).

In his artistic endeavors, Christian has created over 25 murals spanning the Greater Cincinnati area. Among his notable works is a Cincinnati-themed mural adorning the office of David Bell, manager of the Cincinnati Reds. Additionally, he crafted a large mural in downtown Lawrenceburg, Indiana, commemorating the town’s vibrant history.

Whether painting grand or intimate projects, Christian consistently ventures into new aesthetic realms, aiming to craft a visually captivating world that fosters unity among its inhabitants.
